Hey, I’m a BIG fan of anything that is fantasy, mystery, sci-fi, and epics. My favorite of them all is fantasy. If you’ve not tried reading the book series The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, you should. Click here for My Wheel of Time Site.
I was born in Elkton, MD, grew up in Virginia till 10, then grew up in North Carolina, and been living there till late ’09. I majored in Computer Science and Mathematics and went into tutoring before my financial situation changed. Eventually, Mom and I moved away to Ravenswood, WV.
After two years living in Ravenswood, we moved to Philippi, WV. Unfortunately, Mom’s condition got worse, and she passed away. I miss her a lot, but I thank God all the time for her, before, now, and in the future as always. Having a girlfriend was also a blessing as well.
I had been looking for a job a few months prior to Mom passing away, but since I did not have one by the time she passed away, I had to move out of the place I was living in; so I was homeless and jobless, but I did for a time live with my girlfriend on campus. For the most part though, I slept in my truck at nights.
I eventually ended up with a job that eventually led to me working in Admissions on campus. Once I got a job, I got a place to live. I also started taking some classes to try to finish my double major that I had to put aside to take care of Mom.
I got let go from my job in Admissions, but I got another job thanks to my neighbors. Thanks to this change, I was able to finish up my double major a year earlier than expected during the 2014-15 school year. This means that my girlfriend and I were able to graduate the same year as well. She finished hers in Music Education, and I finished up with both Computer Science and Mathematics and a Minor in GIS (Geographic Information System).
A lot other changes have happened, including a new place to live, a new job, and a new church. Certain things in the future are still uncertain, but we look forward to it. We both pray that things continue to look up from here on, though. God willing, it will.
I’ll try to update some more later. Take care and God bless.
